Malay of Malaysia

"A Malay woman sat near me at the wet market in a small fishing village in Southeast Asia. The crowd milled around, buying and selling as usual. The woman wasn't doing anything to make me notice her, but for some reason I did.  And I could feel her loneliness from the look on her face. I was overcome with compassion.  I recalled the Biblical account of how God blessed, through Peter, a lame and lonely beggar  just like this woman. "Could God do that through me?" I wondered. I remember deeply wishing I had a friend to pray with me; but I had none. So pausing to think a moment, I put my hand in my pocket and gave this woman what money I had. I knelt down, placed my hand on her shoulder and whispered to her in her language, "In the name of Isa Al-masih, (Jesus the Messiah) ... and prayed for her.  I still remember her face.  But will anyone else? I cannot describe to you what I saw that day. I saw more than just a lonely women, I saw a nation. I saw millions, just like her, who have no one to tell them of Jesus..."

Will you pray for the Malay? James 5:16 states that "the prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much"
