Praying Through Scripture

Dear God ,

Your promise that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord fills my soul with delight and encouragement. We thank you that your name will be declared among all peoples and that there will be people from every nation, tribe and tongue worshipping before your throne. Lord we cry out to you to bring this reconciliation of people to yourself. We ask that you not wait at showing your great name to these people groups. Open their eyes and let them see you. Lord where there is no way, make a way father. We ask that you may show them yourself in visions and in dreams and that there will be people near them to lead them to yourself as this occurs. Fill each of these lands with the knowledge of your glory that you died for them, and that they can receive forgiveness of sin. Hear their prayers Father as many of the devout truly seek you and show yourself to them. Give them questions, and allow them to seek answers tenaciously, as we know that you promise that those who truly seek you will find you. Help them understand that as they clothe themselves with garments of white in prayer, that their hearts can be clothed with white forevermore. Bring many families and communities to yourself Lord. Build communities of faith that stay and reach out to others. And Lord just as the waters cover the sea, let your name be known among this people and let your glory cover the earth.
