The scripture says that Joshua and Caleb "followed the Lord fully" as they were sent out to view the promised land and the people. (Numbers 32:11-12) Their view was different than the other 10 men with them. In the book, Prayer Walking, by Hawthorne, it describes how Joshua knew his purpose was ' to help extend Gods glory among the nations.' And since his focus was on what the Lord could do he was able to order his steps strategically.
If our eyes were on the Lord, as Joshua and Caleb's were, would our steps be ordered differently? |
