There has been heavy rain, severe flooding and landslides. Strong winds have also brought down a couple of big trees. Consequently the road is blocked and will take some time to be passable again. Sorry but you'll have to make alternative plans.
Natural disasters such as landslides and flash floods are common in the Minangkabau people's homeland. In the cities fires are also common. Sometimes lives are lost. Minangkabau people often associate such disasters with God's judgement.
Please ask that, when natural disasters shake Minangkabau people's foundations, God will use this to open their hearts to the ROCK that cannot be shaken.
