The University of Riau
Gateway
We start our tour at the main entrance to the University of Riau. The sign seems unkempt, like the swampy ground it stands in, dirt running across the bright white.
Leading from the entrance of the university is a long, straight avenue of dusty trees. Green minibuses pass by, honking and looking for customers, occasionally picking up students on their way home.
You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
Matthew 7:13-14 (NLT)
- Pray that the students and faculty of the University of Riau would find and choose the "gateway to life" and the "narrow, difficult road".
- Pray that students and faculty would be eager to enter God's Kingdom.
